Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:

Big Star - #1 Record

This 1971 album is full of nostalgia and good ol’ rock and roll. My favorite: “Thirteen.”

Emitt Rhodes - “Somebody Made for Me”

Rhodes’ Beatles-esque sound is electrifying and this song has a bittersweet romantic vibe.

Phyllis Dillon - One Life to Live

Dillon’s 1972 album showcases her amazing soprano voice; she was one of the greatest soul, rocksteady, and reggae singers in Jamaica. My favorite: “Livin’ in Love.”
