Music Friyay: Billie Holiday, Goblin, Kimya Dawson

By Joanna C. Valente

Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:

Billie Holiday - Blue Moon

How do you not love this 1952 classic album? Every song is a gem.

Goblin - Suspiria

It’s the season for spooky and nothing gets weirder than Goblin’s music for the soundtrack for the 1977 Suspiria.

Kimya Dawson - Remember That I Love You

Dawson’s 2001 album is nostalgic for me, but it’s a tender lovingly bizarre love note. My favorite? “Better Weather.”
