Music Friyay: Marcus Jade, Power Trash, ALA.NI
By Joanna C. Valente
Here’s some music, new and old, you should listen to and check out:
Marcus Jade - Moon
Jade, a folk and blues musician, released a new EP this year and it’s a melancholic, tender dream. Jade’s cover of “La Vie En Rose” is to die for.
Power Trash - Some Old Tragedy
New York City-based punk/hardcore band released an EP in 2020, and it’s absolutely fantastic. It brings you back into the ease and fun of rough music. Music should always be rough around the edges. “Purgatory” should be your new anthem.
ALA.NI - ACCA
ALA.NI is a true individual, whose voice is completely unique. I love her 2020 album that refuses to back down or hide.
